Health Canada released the new Canada Food Guide in Feburary 2007. It still maintains the rainbow theme, but there has been several changes made. Some changes include greater emphasis on vegetables and fruit, more ethnic foods, and smaller serving size of meat and alternatives. Recommended number of servings are now more specific to gender and age. |
